At Airlinen, we strive to offer a transparent and flexible linen hire experience for all our clients. One of the most important aspects of our service is our 21-day hire policy, which ensures fairness, availability, and accountability across all orders.
See below for a quick breakdown of how it works and what you need to know.

What does the 21-day hire policy mean?
When you hire linen from Airlinen, the items are provided for a 21-day period from the date of delivery. This means your payment covers the use of that linen for up to three weeks. If you need to keep the linen for longer, no problem at all, simply rehire it for another 21 days. This helps us manage inventory and maintain high standards for all our clients.
Think of it like hiring a car
Just like hiring a car, our policy works on a time-bound basis. You’re expected to return the items within 21 days. If you exceed this period without rebooking, additional charges will apply.
What happens if the linen isn’t returned?
If linen is kept beyond the 21-day period, here’s what will happen:
You will receive two reminder emails prompting you to place a new order or to arrange a collection. For a detailed view of this click here.
If no new booking or collection is arranged, a rehire charge will automatically be applied for each additional 21-day period.
If still no action is taken after two reminder emails and rehire charge, the linen will be considered permanently yours and you will be invoiced for the replacement cost of the items.
Why do we have this policy?
This approach ensures we can continue to offer high quality, freshly laundered linen to all our clients while keeping our operations efficient and fair. It also gives you the flexibility to extend your hire as needed, with clear communication and cost transparency.
Can you launder the linen yourself?
No, we do not allow clients to launder the linen themselves, as all items remain the property of Airlinen. Our linen must be washed using specialised machinery and processes to meet strict hygiene standards and maintain its quality.

How can I track and manage the linen I have out?
You can track and manage your linen through our online portal at tracker.airlinen.co.uk, where you place your orders. In the "Outstanding Hire Products" section, you’ll see how many days remain before your linen becomes overdue, as well as how many days it has been overdue if applicable.
